Backyard kitchens across Westlake Village and the Conejo Valley
An outdoor kitchen is masonry with appliances in it. The structure — the block core, the counter substrate, the veneer, the drainage under the slab — is what decides whether it still looks right in ten years, and it is entirely invisible by the time the grill goes in.
CPF builds backyard kitchens, fireplaces, fire pits, seating walls and counters as part of the wider hardscape, so the paving, the pool surround and the cooking end read as one piece of work rather than three projects that happened to land in the same garden.
What that covers
- Outdoor kitchens and BBQ surrounds — block core, veneer, and counters cut to the appliances.
- Fireplaces and chimneys — stacked stone, cast stone or brick, with proper flue detailing.
- Fire pits and seating walls — sized so people can actually sit round them.
- Counters — poured concrete or stone, sealed for outdoor use.
- Patio and pergola bases — the flatwork and footings underneath.
Building around a pool
A lot of this work happens within a few feet of water, which changes things: setting out around existing coping, keeping the pool clean through a masonry build, and choosing finishes that survive chlorine and wet feet. It is worth saying out loud at the quoting stage rather than discovering on day three.
Owner supervised, fully insured
Nobody wants a half-built fireplace in the garden over summer. Each project is owner supervised, and CPF is licensed, insured and bonded — C-29 masonry and C-8 concrete.
